Hey /vr/, I want to get into the Breath of Fire games to quench my recent thirst for a good JRPG series. I just started BoF1 and I want to know if the series gets any better because so I continue the series after I beat the first game. I'm finding the first game kind of mediocre. What's the general consensus of the series?

Don't know why but this I loved this franchise so much (1 through 4 to be exact) so I have never gotten over the fact that Capcom forgot about it existing.

What your favorite game in the series?

For me it was BoF II as it had the best overarching plot, characters and how it was the only of the games to be a actually sequel to the first.
