The armor from Doom 1-2 is literally just some green plate with a helmet, no branding, and only appears in Doom 2016 in a *picture* where it isn't referred to explicitly as UAC armor or anything of the like. Additionally, if he's the Doomguy from 64 and that's where the story connects and it's super duper intentional as the claim goes, the armor ought to look like this.

The game went through a lot of re-writes. In the 2015 gameplay reveal they showed the armor but the Night Sentinels symbol was completely missing from the helmet, indicating that the origin story was probably written more than halfway through development and after the design of the armor and it was likely initially designed as UAC armor, from the UAC, in the universe the campaign exists in. It has human/UAC branding on it because a) It was already made, revealed, rigged and animated and b) it's fucking Doom and you shouldn't be reading so far into the plot that you're concluding that some far fetched bullshit like Multiverse Time Distortion is going on to explain the intricate details of the design of his badass super suit.
