This was my first experience with emulation. I have some (not much) experience with console games, but it's probably close to 20 years since I played one. After some googling I went to emuparadise and downloaded bsnes 0.85 (64-bit) and the rom for Super Castlevania IV (Europe).

I was expecting this game to be "nintendo hard" from the beginning, but that didn't really seem to be the case. I'm sure it gets harder further in, though. I doubt anyone will be impressed with how far I came on my first try, but that was mainly because I hit the wrong keys too many times (played with the keyboard). Also, I kept getting a low frame rate for some reason, sometimes even below 30. Not sure how much that impacted my play, but it was annoying. Would consider playing this more, if I could fix that problem.
