Many FPS games these days still do not have great AI. Dooms game relies more on making a map around the monsters than making a map and the monsters figure it out.

In fact one of my favorite games of all time, F.E.A.R (which is praised for it's AI) does not actually have proper AI at all, it's just excellently done scripting.

Whatever, you're not being a twat about it so we can all have a conversation. I also think the guns (save the pistol which is useless) are very satisfying to use, though the supershotgun may be a bit overpowered.
