Why wasn'tthis game mocked as much as Rogue Warrior?

Is there an FPS with worse shooting mechanics than this? Hardmode: no obscure shovelware from third world nations.

This is probably the worst shooter I've played in my entire life. At first I wanted to write down why is it so bad, make some arguments about, maybe have a little reflection on what could be done better or what I actually admire, but no, fuck it. Such a half-assed jank deserves a thread that's equally half-assed. I'm suprised it was done by the same guys who did Redneck Rampage, that game was actually playable and feeling >finished<.

Kingpin: Life of Crime stopped working for me. I have the widescreen patch installed. I have run it once or twice before with the same install and haven't changed any settings or configuration or anything since then. Now I get a black screen (with the HUD visible) after selecting the difficulty setting.

Anyone have ANY idea what the fuck is going on or how to fix it?

I agree with you. I love AI partners and it's underutilized because some games make the mistake of making them necessary escorts.

Kingpin does a really good job with your hired allies. Unlike Half Life 1, they actually will follow you into weird places.
