Can someone explain to me the inexplicable silent popularity of Hideous Destructor?
Most people map around vanilla, most gameplay modders mod with the intention of producing something parallel to vanilla, most reviewers and lets-players play vanilla maps and vanilla-parallel gameplay mods, and the only time I see people talk about HD is to do a bunch of (mostly annoying) bitching because they apparently can't wrap their heads around tactical gameplay. And yet....
Somehow it's the most popular mod on ZDoom forums and has a thread 480+ pages long? The fuck? Where the fuck are these people coming from? How the hell is it so popular yet the discussion (outside that thread) is non-existent? Are these people hanging out on ARMA and Rainbow Six forums or something? This shit confuses me dudes.
