Pls respond guys. I don't want to send them to Chocolate Doom or GZDoom for their very first time. I was hoping Crispy or GLBoom would be available but neither offer pre-compiled releases for mac.

Why does SDL sound like a million times better than Fluidsynth in GLBoom+ with the same soundfont (Emperor Grieferus' SC-55) ?

I just tried it in Ancient Aliens MAP02 and holy fuck the difference is night and day.

Why is PrBoom-Plus v2.5.1.5 not considered a valid sourceport for demo recording in DSDA?

The latest I see listed that is allowed is v2.5.1.4. What changed between these versions that made it haram?

you should try the jams
generally the levels are much shorter
if you want bite sized quake speedmapping packs are another good option

man there are so many cool levels
somebody should make a "best of" compilation from across the spectrum besides AD
