I ran into that exact same glitch. I think I keeled over laughing for about five minutes.
The hospital dungeon with this glitch on was strangely beautiful though. The sky was rendered above the walls, so it was like walking around in an invisible dungeon in the clouds.
It was honestly a wonderful experience and it's strange to me that the only people who will ever experience it are the people who emulate one of the original versions of SMT3 on a specific emulator with the wrong settings.
