Telling me to play the game is useless, I know how it goes, from the treehouse to Angel Tower to Myria's fucking floating station, half of these little fuckups you write about are your own, not part of the gameplay.

Cant get boat, you go to the lighthouse, get it working again and kill that dolphin for the faerie's. When the boat still doesnt come, you are given guild permission to use the volcano path. This kind of thing is standard jrpg fare. The fact that you personally got trolled the fuck out of it is of no consequence to anyone else. Maybe just not play jrpg's? Or perhaps play those that are one straight line, I recommend playing Treasure Hunter G for the SNES (oh but you have to take a few minutes from village 2 back to village 1 as part of the story. Since this is clearly such a crime i'm not sure what to suggest after all, sorry!)

The main quest is only slowly discovered because Ryu doesnt know who he is. It is only with time that characters along the way fit little pieces of the puzzle together (mostly with Garr) that the quest grows in clarity.

Anything else is a matter of taste, or in this case, lack thereof.
