It has the worst weakest everyone. It's the year everyone sucks except strikers who are hilariously overpowered. It doeshave sweet backgrounds though that's true.

Interesting. I deffinitely agree on the look and sound of it. Easily some of the best bgs in the series and some great tracks, Way to Rebirth is still one of my favorites. And it introduced some cool characters, Whip is one of my mains now. I just wish Jhun came back.

On the downside I really dislike the smaller roster and that almost everyone is depowered compared to 98. Kensou especially is sad, but it's all across the board and though the new characters are cool they mostly suck that year. I get it was done to balance things, nut always feels like the year everyone sucks to me. Then strikers were an interesting idea, but never implemented well and range from near useless to stupidly op (looking at you dark syo) so overall though it has a lot I love It's usually at the bottom of my list as the KoFs go.
