My kid and I usually do co-ops, because it helps build our relationship, plus I can be sure that I'll be there to help him when he invariably gets stuck on the first level of Contra III, so:
Contra 1, 2, 3
Pokey and Rocky
Double Dragon 1, 2, 3, Super, etc.
And for the life of me, I can't remember anything else, but you get the idea. Also, if they're into videogames they might wanna try the meme stuff, i.e. SMW, Metroid, The Lion King, Street Fighter, Ghost n Ghouls, Zelda etc.
