First time going through plutonia on UV, fuck arch-viles.

I've got a question for you guys. I just beat Doom and Doom II for the first time. I'm a little behind the times here. Anyway, now that I've beaten the games, I'm ready to move on to some wads.

Out of the trillions of wads out there, which should I play first? If there was one that you could play again for the first time, what would be?

Also, fuck this guy. Scared the shit out of me in Circle of Death.

I'm kind of retarded and would like to know if one of you could give me simple instructions to play Doom multiplayer. I have Ultimate Doom and Doom II from steam, but I can't figure out how to play online. What's the easiest way I can do it?
