Absolutely not. Since learning about PCem, I have not looked back. The biggest selling point for me is that you get to emulate the games for the CPU chipsets they were built for. No speed glitches in Space Quest IV or any of the Apogee/Epic Megagames titles.

I have an instance for a 486 DOS/Win 3.11 machine and a Pentium MMX Win98 machine.

Imagine a shitty inferior port of Final Fantasy VII to the N64. This is what you're angry about?

There's a veritable sea of canceled 64DD games though, many of which got retooled for N64. I'm hoping for something related to Zelda or the Fire Emblem that eventually became The Binding Blade, but it could literally be anything.

64DD Mother 3 would be neat but I don't think the game got too far in development before transferring to N64 cartridge form, where it was likely shaping up to be not too different story-wise from the final GBA release. If we ever get our hands on a build, it would most probably be a disappointment.
