I was a huge fan when I was a kid and couldn't afford most of their stuff. I liked their humor back in the day although a lot of it makes me shake my head now. The US vidya scene was better for their presence than they would have been without, though. They released Dragon Force for god's sake. If any fan translator groups want to retranslate any of the games WD released, then they are free to do so.

Lunar 2: Eternal Blue is a beautiful RPG. Lunar: The Silver Star is alright, too, but not nearly as impressive and less fun in my opinion. Still worthwhile.
Shining Force CD is alright but not as good as the Genny Shining Force games. Still a worthwhile SRPG, and it allows you to increase the difficulty settings.
Space Adventure Cobra is an adventure game (similar to Snatcher but without the shooting segments) that looks and sounds very nice but, like Snatcher, is maybe too linear and doesn't have much puzzle-solving aside from "check everything." Try it if you like Snatcher, though. there's also a Sega CD version of Secret of Monkey Island that I've spent some enjoyable time with, but I don't know how it stacks up against the computer versions.
Android Assault, Lords of Thunder, Sol Feace, Keio and Robo Aleste are decent to good shmups on the system.
Time Gal is fun is you like those kind of watch-cartoon-and-press-directions games but the Saturn version is better. I'm pretty sure there are also versions of Dragon's Lair and Space Ace on Sega CD but I haven't tried them.
Panic! is not fun but is an interesting curiosity that you should check out while you're at it if you have CD-Rs to spare.
