I really hope somebody can help me with this, because it's been bugging me for almost two decades.

In the mid-nineties, Burger King (it might have been McDonald's, honestly) had a contest in North America where the grand prize was the chance to create your own Sega Genesis game. A friend and I spent like a month coming up with ideas in case we won. Obviously we didn't, but I'm wondering who did.

Does anyone remember this contest? Was the game ever actually made? Who was in charge of developing it? I'm sure it would have been some throwaway piece of shit that isn't worth playing (our lofty ideas would have never seen fruition) but I'm still really goddamn curious.
