Dutchfag here. I’ve been wanting to pick up an SNES, but I heard that the PAL versions are slow and overall inferior compared to the NTSC versions. Apparently you can buy an adaptor that can play imports, but from what I’ve read they don’t always seem to work with all games. Alternatively I could buy an imported Super Famicom or an american NTSC model, but they seen to cost more here.
What is my best option here? Spend the extra money on an imported Super Famicom/NTSC SNES and just stick to imports from those regions, or should I risk the gamble and buy a PAL SNES with an adaptor? Hell, is the 50/60hz difference even noticeable?
