Almost 30 years and 4 console generations later, the best modern games are just remakes of what this thing gave us. Even as a Nintendo cultist, I have to acknowledge how impressive that is

The PSone is very cute

Hey /vr/, I need help. I have a PSone (slim ver. of PS1), but lack the power chord, which sadly is not the same as what the full-size console uses. I
ve been looking around online and can't find it anywhere. If anyone could help me find it, I'd appreciate it. Preferably on Amazon as I have a gift card.

I'm actually desperate to find this game, since it was a huge part of my childhood.

It was a Side scroller for the Playstation 1. The boss battles, however, we're fighting.

The story of the game is that you play as this 20 something year old guy with strong magic. Your village is raided by some assholes, and they take your mother after she tried to protect you. In the process, The leader of the asshole squad turns you back into a kid.

You go about the game with a sword, and upgrades are given throughout the game. In every boss battle, you turn back into an adult, and it turns into a fighting game until the boss is killed.

Does /vr/ know the name of this game? Please help!
