Yeah the first Wario Land <SPOILER> and Virtual Boy Wario Land </SPOILER> are the best in the series, imo. Really been getting into the overlooked platformers lately, stuff like Chiki Chiki Boys / Mega Twins on the PC Engine CD and Genesis, Wardner, which is a fucking weird game, but has a certain charm to it.

Agreed, pretty sure everybody that's interested in /vr/ knows about Metal Storm, Pulseman, Alien Soldier and Wild Guns by now.

For a real-deal overlooked title, there's Chiki Chiki Boys / Mega Twins on the Genesis. I've never heard a single person other than myself bring this game up, ever.

Chiki Chiki Boys / Mega Twins, the Capcom game nobody has ever heard of. If you like Wonder Boy in Monster World or Alex Kidd you'll probably dig this.

Perfect smooth controls. Awesome graphics. Great variety of gameplay a la Contra.

Chiki Chiki Boys / Mega Twins is a really great, super colorful Capcom platformer that nobody seems to talk about, but is really fun. You can get it w/ case for as little as $8 on Amazon Marketplace right now
