Chink memory cards for the PS2 are actually surprisingly fine.
But you should only use 8mb ones, any bigger and you risk games not working with them or having corrupted saves.
t. been using the same 5 chink 8mb cards since 2011.
The chink PS1 cards are ok but it's a lottery. Just fill it up with saves, delete and fill it up again. If it doesn't have any corrupted sectors you're fine.
You can also back up PS1 saves on PS2 cards.
There's literally no need to buy $20 official cards anymore.
