Xpander, Tin There, and P.E.T.R.O.L were those "zen" tracks that really got you in the zone. Xpander playing during manor top on phantom with an ag-sys was pretty much the exact moment I came to realize how much I really loved WipEout 3.

That's fair. I personally couldn't wait and just wanted to run TT's and go fast in 60fps, but if you are looking for a traditional wipeout experience I would wait until a campaign is added.

I don't think it retains that floaty feel of SE at all. None of the modern wipeout airbrake systems were really able to recreate anything from the PS1 games, especially pure which I felt was more clunky and slow than anything else.
Turns like this are things that just will not happen in pure.
Pulse was a pretty big improvement in that regard.

And yea, the FPS is definitely noticeable, it's a dam shame it wasn't released in the US.
