>Only dialogue in the game is Reala saying "There is no NiGHTS" which fantards kept using to say they have a deep dynamic via reaching, only for it to turn out s/he was just saying "Let's go NiGHTS"
Man I thought X and Zero had an interesting dynamic, but once I heard Reala say "Let's go NiGHTS!" I knew I was in for a special relationship that lasted one boss fight
>No memorable music except for the first stage jingle
>Shitty controls with both NiGHTS and the children, made worse by the fact you're required to get high scores to even fight the final boss
>Game is literally DuMBLR before DuMBLR
>Can't even tell the difference between the foreground and background because of how shittily the game renders things, looks half-incompleted
>Dated FMVs and graphics
>Confusing gameplay and boss patterns
>A fucking time limit before you can figure out boss patterns forcing you to replay the entire level
>Final boss is a generic big bad
>Game is buggy and keeps knocking you back over and over if you get get hit even once, essentially screwing you over in the kids' gameplay
>Can't properly control the minecart and shit

Sad part is I had NiGHTS on my queue for years for when I needed a masterpiece of a game and just came off of playing Klonoa 1-2.

I was expecting a masterpiece out of NiGHTS and a meh game out of Klonoa. Instead I got 2 of the most breathtaking games of all time from Klonoa and the most overrated game ever alongside Planescape Torment with NiGHTS.
