Seems like a pretty standard NES platformer to me, nothing too crazy. Definitely not as cool as Turtles in Time or Hyperstone Heist, but not bad.

You can choose between four Turtles at any time by just pausing the game anon. It's basically like babby's first Castlevania anon, don't even have to wait for wall chicken since a lot of enemies drop pizza

Nah OP I'm sorry, I tried it again and I still can't get into it. Super Castlevania IV and Bloodlines hold my attention for longer. The graphics are great but the art style is weird, people complain about Harmony of Dissonance but I see some of the same pastel stuff in this game. Enemy placement is horrendous though, makes Bloodlines look like a masterpiece. Now I just want to play Chronicles and SotN, and... Something else in general ol

Play the other Castlevania games. Bloodlines has a nice style to it as well as any of the later titles. You might also like:

Dracula X Chronicles on PSP looks really cool. It's a remake of Rondo of Blood but in 2.5D and in English, plus it includes its own port of SotN. I've only ever played the Classicvanias which are good but a lot more challenging. If the later games are too easy for you then try them. If you're a zoomie or modernfriend don't forget to play the Bloodstained games as well
