Just a couple key things, you'll needs a 25 pin to scart adapter cable for the 25 pin port on the back of the set to use scart cables for the consoles you'll want to play on it. Scart is like hdmi for standard definition tv, don't cheap out on the scart cables themselves, never get the cheap chinese crap you can find online. There are a couple great webstores that make tailored made scart cables for every retro console you can think of. If you got lucky on the price for the PVM, you can spare to splurge on good scart cables. The last thing is that this PVM doesn't have built in speakers, so you'll have to find external speakers to connect to it.
