I disagree entirely. The odd moment of "remember when that happened first time?" is nice, but I am mostly enjoying experiencing games that I never could or did play, even ones I'd never heard of. I'm loving the Megadrive library a lot. I've carefully selected a few cartridges to buy and play even.
Threads like this try to tie feelings of depression, tiredness and boredom to external factors. Games are good.
