Lies, rare software for MSX may as well not exist. Yuurei-kun / Mr. Ghost regularly goes for $300-400 loose even on Yahoo Auction, Star Virgin $500-700, and I've never seen physical copies of Mon Mon Monster or Psycho World either online or in Japanese game stores.

Cheap MSX software are loose and plentiful MSX carts like the early Konami titles like Goonies, Gradius 1 or weird early titles like the Iga Ninpo-cho games. The big clamshell cases for later releases are highly coveted and sought after and easily drive prices up double or even sometimes triple the loose cart prices.

The MSX has a lot of great / exclusive games that never were ported to other systems, stuff by Konami like Usas or Space Manbow are worth getting into the MSX for. There's also rare and unique exclusive titles by smaller, fly-by-night studios that are worth checking out like Famicle Parodic, Mon Mon Monster and Yuurei-kun / Mr. Ghost.
