Not counting the Prologue there are 12 stages, right? There's some space below the selected player on the main menu. Maybe small versions of the boss orb graphic can be displayed there representing each stage. They'd populate according to which stages were beaten by the selected character. You can unlock Harem Maria without any fuss but in order to unlock the second version requires beating all levels with the regular version. And then unlocking Simon mode with Richter requires beating all levels with everybody. So the levels will still be unlocked normally but players can complete them with the different characters/costumes at their leisure.
