/vr/ - Retro Games

On paper I like everything about 3K more than 2.
>I like the spritework & music better
>I like most of the level archetypes better
>I think the story is more interesting
>Knuckles is my favorite character
>I love the inclusion of both bonus and special stages
>I love the elemental shields
>I love that the different characters have abilities & campaigns
>I love the minibosses
>I love hypersonic and the special ending (before it was driven into the ground in every game)
so on and so forth.

And yet, I just find 2 more fun to play. and I find 1 the most fun to play of the 3. Is this because I was playing Mario before I got into sonic? Marble is one of my favorite zones to play for some reason, but maybe I'm just getting filtered.
