I bought an used N64 in 1999 that i still have today, and even today, it still has freezing issues. Wonder if the previous owner did something like the crooked cartridge glitch to mess it up? Anyway, is there a way i can repair it?

N64 really should have added an optional SNES+NES player. It would have extended the life of SNES games a bit, and encouraged people to buy an N64.

Why is N64 emulation STILL lagging behind?

Let's step back for a second. The N64 has the raw power to make it the most powerful console of its gen by far. But it has confusion complex design, and a lot of bottlenecks. Assuming it kept the cartridge design, but with a better design, easy to program for, with no bottlenecks.

What would these games look like?
