~15 minutes of fiddling around.
My S-ENC B BA6594AF gives a reasonable image pulling directly from the chip, nothing between it and the CRT;

I believe I may have just fried everything though thanks to careless placement of the power switch.

Manage to grab a few photos before doing so though. This is with the chroma knob turned nearly all the way up and the brightness lowered slightly. Otherwise it comes out washed out. Apparently pulling from the Multi AV fixes this.
