When I was a kid, there was a stationary store that had a shelf full of shareware floppies for like a dollar apiece.

Shut up, I was a kid, I didn't know any better.

The three games I got were Mario Bros VGA, Piranha Panic, and Orbots.

Pic related. You play as a piranha, and go around eating enemies. There are also bosses, but, it's all so simplistic, this game could really only be fun to a child.

>Orbots
This one's so obscure I couldn't even find a screenshot of it. It's a pretty unremarkable horizontal shmup.
