Hey /vr/, my Saturn is confusing me.

Everyone who talks about getting into the Saturn discusses imports and how everything works seamlessly with AR. I have a japanese white model 2 and an American model 2.

The American consoles are supposed to be 100% compatible once AR is used, but that's not the case for me. My japanese accessories, (3D control pad, Mission Stick) and even my American racing wheel refuse to work with my American Saturn. Not sure what's making the controller port cherry pick compatibility.

What's especially weird is how Space Harrier has two revisions, one that doesn't work with model 2 saturns and one that's compatible with both. The latter is hard to come by, and I bought my copy before knowing this. What's really weird to me is how with the AR in, my Model 2 incompatible Space Harrier works on the Model 2 American Saturn, but still doesn't work on the Japanese even with AR in.

Does anyone know why this is? Is there an AR code I don't know of that remedies Space Harrier on model 2 Saturns?

It was made by Yuji Naka, sonic's creator in an attempt to make something different. It satisfies that high speed thrill of sonic games but plays nothing like it. NiGHTS is easily one of my favorite games, if you're into speedrun-esque challenges then A-Ranking every stage will be an absolute blast. That's definitely where the fun lies for me.

Amiga 1080 here. I wanna use my DB9 input for RGB, would getting a DB9->DB25 and then a DB25->SCART adapter work? All the pins would line up I imagine.

I bought one from amazon, and it works fine and looks great. No clue if they're OEM or 3rd party but they get the job done considering the sea of cheap chinese cables flooding ebay. Pic very much related.
