Something about SC1 is just more impressive than the sequels. The characters stand out more on screen, the animations seem to be punchier, the sound effects and music seem much more defined.

I'm still impressed by SC1, the stages really sold it for me. Everything about it hits perfect from graphics to sound to control. Truly a 10/10 game.

Namco are fucking retards for not releasing a remastered collection of 1-4, literally leaving money on the table

The original is still my favorite, best music and sound effects, best movement, best roster. 2 was good, but 3 got way too stupid and over the top with character designs and special effects.

I think guest characters and create-a-character were the worst things to ever happen to the series, especially fucking Link.
