I remember it was still the same kind of magazine, when I noticed a change was in Gamecube/GBA times. Still a good magazine but a bit less soul, then by DS times circa 2005 I bought an issue on a whim and, while I could see some vestiges of the old club nintendo, it was too buried on trashy SMS ad pages it was unreal, seemed like one of those cheap gossip magazines my grandma reads.
1993-1999 Club Nintendo is still My favorite video game magazine in terms of layout and all. I think it was even better than Nintendo Power, from what i've seen of that.
I never liked USA-style magazines much, design was often too cluttered.
