Personally, I prefer pic related, as a standard for treating my fellow humans, regardless of male/female, unless they give me valid reason otherwise. Seems to work for me.

After some looking around, it looks as if the current atmosphere may have changed from what it was back in the day. Used to be they were the types to post the above pic. Now, it seems they're more of a "Idiocy Display" akin to /r/SubredditDrama. Of course, I could be wrong...
