Yeah I should totally prevent myself from playing a game such as this in any other means available to me just because I can't buy it

I am so pissed off right now. I almost got a copy of Little Samson (with the box) for $10. It was in between a couple other boxed NES games at a game store. I pulled it out and so that there was a stick for $9.99 on the box. I knew there was no fucking way. Sure enough, when the guy goes to ring me up, it's $499. I was hoping I could slip it by, but nope. Now I'm depressed. Any of you have similar stories of disappointment?

This reminds me of this thread. Apparently some guy named Akira Kitamura should've been the one to be acknowledged. He actually went on to found Takeru which developed Little Samson.

Little Samson I suppose. I'm not too clear on which of my NES games are all that rare except that and the one in OP.

One of the best controlling games I've ever played. Just the right amount of challenge, too.

SkyBlazer was the shit as well. Had a good bit of depth that was lacking in beat-em-ups of that era. Almost had an ActRaiser vibe to it.

Man little samson was so good.
The way it makes you play each character individually on stages bespoke unto their abilities before introducing the character switching mechanic.
That's god tier conveyance right there.
