It is significantly less expensive than finding a trustworthy person to mod original consoles. In the US, no one is willing to do the dirty work anymore, so there really is no alternative.

Bullshit. In the end it is just electrical signals, similar to that of a brain, it is how you use them which defines it to the perception of the systems around it. I will ask of you to define the terms of real and soul, for that may be inconsequential for something greater. Memories can alter perception, but memories can be unreliable and inaccurate. Without hard evidence, they can change the shape of a room, a person's appearance, or a console's capabilities. I shouldn't matter what augmentations so long as you're enjoying the games.

In my case they are the only option due to a lack of people able+willing to do the mod work. I can do more doordash deliveries and save up for the mod work that I wanted, but there is no one in this state and surrounding regions that can do it, so it is like buying a pre-modded system.

It is a convenient alternative, when no one around has the skills/equipment and willing to spend the time to mod. That kind of service to work on the consoles cost a lot more, so the Analogue products are a great deal.

It was for me since no one is capable of doing RGB/sound mods in my area. However, it looks like all their systems are having production issues and are not available at their suggested retail price.

For the Mega SG, either the Mega Everdrive Pro or MegaSD to provide some SegaCD/MegaCD games. The Super NT may benefit from the FXpak Pro for games utilizing MSU-1, SA-1, and SuperFX chip games.

They are the only option around here since no one is able or willing to mod consoles. I had saved up for someone, anyone to make clearer, jailbarless RGB and a cleaner pure sound from my consoles but they are always on some other project which keeps them from doing such commissions. While I do not like Analogue's luxury enthusiast branding, the jailbreak firmwares and analog output make them an even more intriguing option. If they make a multiple arcade FPGA, I'd be all over that.
