Yeah, this is the way to go. I’m use a similar IPS for my dmg, but for my GBC l use the previous smaller screen IPS because there are just some shells I’m not willing to cut.

Modded backlight looks like this. I think the colors are fine, and it’s pixil perfect resolution but unless you’re prepared to cut your shell like l absolutely wasn’t then the screen is going to be a little bit smaller.
