Had fun playing multiplayer like most people in this thread but I'm more of a single player autist and the one game I've spent the most time playing was probably Majora's Mask because I liked exploring the combinations what NPCs were doing depending on the time and some other conditions such as the status of certain quests or if the boss of an area was defeated. Perfect Dark as also god tier for both single player and multiplayer.

They didn't, they all died. That's why we only have Apple (who also almost died) and what is essentially the successor of IBM-compatibles now. Turns out most people aren't computer hobbyists and only want the platform that has the most software, which is why MS and x86 won in the PC space

With the cheaper carts like that chink clone, you need to reset the console so the save data is actually written to the SD card. If the power goes out the save data that was in the RAM is lost. The Everdrive 64 X7 saves without having to reset but it's also $200 USD
