Writing this out so it's super clear and can be put in the next OP
Compiling Simpsons hit and run in visual studio 2019
- download the updated files
anonfiles com/DeO44fDeub
- extract and overwrite the existing files
- open "game/build/win32/SRR2.sln"
- Change the build target to "Release" (where it says "Debug" at the top)
- hit build
- there's plenty of warnings but appears to work fine
