Parries were invented in my village over 200 years ago! We would burry each other in small holes filled with hot coals and who ever stayed in their hole longest won. The goal was to kick some of your coals into your opponents hole and to kick back the coals he attempted to kick into yours. This is just like your Street Fighter parries only much superior!

in my village we would fill a whole with hot coals and the children would take turns tossing tiny coin like objects made of goat shit into the fire pit to see how it would change the fire light. this is where the idea of arcades was born
