Slightly unrelated but how the FUCK was chrono so good for its time. Hell even now it shits on some modern games and could probably make a tidy profit nowadays if it didn't exist and was released now.

>incredibly detailed sprites and environments
>long game but doesn't overstay it's welcome and can be wrapped up in 20-30 hours
>time travel mechanics that has future worlds react to changes in the past, with the most obvious example being opening chests
>tons to do across all different times and worlds
>12 FUCKING ENDINGS ALL UNIQUE
>new game+ for replayablity and even having a couple bonuses for doing so (like doing the lavos fight instantly solo with crono)
>all this fit into a 8 mb file size

This game was insane taking everything in and comparing it to other games. Only FF2, 3 and SMRPG could really compare to the love and unironic soul this game had.
