Total Annihilation's robots-and-lasers subject matter lacks charm and turns me off to it, though there are mods and Spring games with more visceral blood-and-guts subject matter I enjoy. I have to admit that the music is fantastic, though.

Sacrifice is the perfect example of graphics over gameplay. For all its attempts at innovation, it's just unsatisfying compared to the games in the genre it's trying to differentiate itself from. If I wanted an action RTS done right, I'd go play Herzog Zwei or Goblin Commander.

Polygonal graphics look awful.

The lack of damage animation in Turrican completely ruins it.

Super Mario Bros. and The Lost Levels were the best games in the series. As much nostalgia as I have for Super Mario World, the simplicity of these first two games puts them head and shoulders above the rest of them.

WarCraft III a shit; the custom maps were really the only reason to play it.

The fifth generation of consoles wasn't all that great.

I never understood the hype about Pokemon.

This one took me fucking forever, especially because I had never even gotten the meat at this point.
