The closest thing is probably Astal, which while not a bad game is no where near as good as Ristar imo. It certainly has nice graphics and production values but I prefer the fun and wacky gameplay of Ristar over Astal. Give it a shot, you might like it

Not as popular as Daytona or SEGA Rally, not as affordable as Manx TT, and it's not a Sonic game or by Sonic Team like NiGHTS and Burning Rangers. Half of all Saturn discussion usually ends up being Japan exclusives and shmups, so a lot of the actual first party exclusive titles end up being ignored.

I like the saturn but why do some saturn fans prop this up as a masterpiece? It looks nice but it’s a very short and generic platformer
