Just dropping in to say DON'T get the New Bittboy. To be fair its size and buttons feel good, and it does play games OK. Good enough to toss in your bag for emergency videya. But there are some problems:
-no saves, only save states
-emulator commands are based on holding multiple buttons, so games that base controls on holding multiple buttons sometimes don't work (like pressing A+B+START+SELECT in zelda)
-aspect ratio is not quite right, you can set it to pixel perfect accuracy but it's very small
-clock speed is not quite right
-horrible treble heavy speaker
-usb port broke off from the board and I had to solder it back on
I feel like these guys will make a good handheld emu device EVENTUALLY but this aint it

Just popping into this thread to tell you not to buy the new bittboy
-no save function, only save states
-can't press a+b+start+select all at once
-the microusb port on mine broke off the board and I had to solder it back on
-slightly wrong aspect ratio
-slightly wrong emulation speeds
-tinny treble heavy speaker
apparently there is custom software made by nerds that fixes some issues, but idk anything about that
I think the next revision of the bittboy might actually be worth buying
