How to spot someone who just sucks at video games. You can lap the whole world twice over and not fill up a third of the d-counter. And the battle system is without question the best and most tactical in the series only 4's really comes close.

see this is the typical criticism of the game. A bunch of baby whining about not being able to spam the instant win move to death and being to dim to understand a very straight forward plot.

The running one is a new though. It's equally stupid though. Because the DASH in question is a super sonic burst of speed meant to plow through enemies and using it should have a negative consequence so you don't just blitz through all of them instead of, you know, actually taking stock of your environment and thinking a little.

I can't think of any reason to say NO to three if you want to play it but 4 is overall probably my favorite in the series and really builds on a lot of what 3 built so going backwards may be rougher than going forward. 3 also has a setting closer to 1 and 2 with it's European fantasy aesthetic versus 4's Oriental one and 4 also has one of the best turned based battle systems ever.

Because it's different and hard. People always make the same complaints about needing to restart (Which you don't) or not being able to spam dragon blasts instead needing to actually get good.

Fans wanted the same old song and dance we got before and while Im a fan of the old style games it was clear they had pretty much run as far as that course will take them. DQ is goddamn great.

What's the difference between picking form + element from a grid and just picking ice dragon or fire dragon or whatever from a quick menu? Fucking nothing.
