All my feels.

TG-16/PC Engine is probably the most underrated system of all time.

A Coregrafx will set you back about $40-50, while the white RF-only model goes for lower. It's pretty expensive to collect for, but if you limit yourself to HuCARDs it's pretty easy to get a sizeable collection without it costing thousands of dollars.

One thing you might want to get is a one of the small PC Engines, like the white one(RF only) or the Core Grafx I/II.(Composite quality) The PC Engine had tons of great games that either never crossed the pond or are hard to find in TG-16 form, plus the system/games are small/light which makes it easy to bring back. Unlike in the US, the PC Engine was the most popular console in Japan during the late 80s-launch of the Super Famicom, beating out the Famicom. This also makes the system very cheap to pick up.

Unfortunately it is a pretty advanced mod, and requires some precise soldering skills. Here is a guide:(on a PC Engine, but works the same on a TG-16)

If you don't want to risk it, another option is getting a Core Grafx, an AV capable PC Engine which you can usually pick up for 50-60 bucks, or less if you play your Ebay cards right.

Ah yes, the Core supports AV. It's not as cheap as the original model, but not too expensive either. The Core has one nice feature; It supports S-Video/RGB unlike the Duo.

If you want CD on the Core, you will need the Super CD-ROM2 Unit. This add-on supports all CDs except Arcade right off the bat like the Duo, but is quite expensive. Getting both the Core and the Super CD-ROM2 will often get more expensive than getting a Duo.

As for the Shuttle, it's pretty expensive, and does not support CD at all. Avoid this one like the plague.
