/vr/ - Retro Games

Is this area supposed to look like this? I have childhood memories of this being pitch dark, as in can't see the walls, floor, or anything but the lit monster room. But three different ports, including chocolate are giving me this faux dark look. Am I misremembering or is something fucked?
