I cant even remember how I found it, it was certainly very unique. The 3D monsters you see in the screenshots dont actually appear unless you're using Risen or something.
It was really different but in a good way.

OP, do a market study first. Go to each of these shops and chat up the owners/employees. I'd bet my bottom dollar they sympathize with many of their customers but given the market and their financial obligations that the only way they can turn a decent profit is gouging prices. Free Play arcades will bring people in, charging 25-50 cents is going to make people feel like they're being nickel and dimed. How much money do you even have to even consider this?

I'd like to open a game store one day as well to use as a lucrative tax shelter/cool spot to get away from my woman. Sure as Hell have zero intention of actually turning a profit because I sure as shit can't be fair with prices if I want to.

OP, go to successful arcades like Gameworks, and Dave & Busters. See how they run their model. I recommend spending a week going to each, taking notes, playing games, talking to employees. You'll get invaluable insight.

Shit, the bartender alone can tell you how the business does just from what he/she's forced to observe while working. Get used to the idea of prize-grabbers/ticket spewers. That shit works for a reason.
