This. The fanbase was nearly sonic-tier, and I say this as the biggest fan of RE I knew other than me at the time was also a huge sonic fan, and a fan of basically every autismo thing you can imagine from stephen universe, kid shows, MLP, etc. and he was a huge RE fan even through the worst of it.

(He's a genuinely great guy by the way. Dude has maxed out charisma stat irl despite being autism-y, and I would never say a genuinely bad thing about him. Fucker can make a conversation with anyone, and he's one of my best friends.)

They managed to bring it back with a bit of mainstream fans with RE7 and RE2Make, but that balance is always slipping and I am convinced that Capcom to this day has no idea what to do with the RE franchise. After RE3make expect them to make even more stupid decisions, which has already started with that multiplayer RE game nobody is going to buy when they could have just rebooted Outbreak with RE2make controls and gotten a bundle.

Yes, very much so. 64bit Not sure what's going on.

I had anistropic filtering on, anti aliasing and a ton of other stuff like multisampling before and it ran fine but just recently it's been running ever so slightly slow, regardless of WAD and even after I disable 90% of this stuff.
