A lot of great suggestions, surprised nobody suggested Earthbound yet.

The story is light for the most part, and a lot of fun. Gameplay wise very accessible and not a remarkable amount of depth, but still fun. The main issue with this game is getting a hold of the cart, because the prices are ridiculous. I'm sure without the box though you could catch on at a decent price.

Do I just suck at videogames? I find Earthbound to be incredibly difficult. The enemies have incredible attack power, high amounts of HP, and the amount of enemies is very high.
